On Wednesday, December 2, 2026, the California Secretary of State brings its Apostille Pop-Up Shop to the San Diego County Administration Center(1600 Pacific Highway). It's same-day and in person — but it's one day only, first-come, and it apostilles only California-issued documents at the state level. FBI & federal apostilles
An FBI background check is a federal document — it's authenticated by the U.S. Department of State, not the California pop-up. We handle the federal route for you.
Out-of-state documents
A birth certificate from Texas or a diploma from New York has to be apostilled by that state — the California pop-up can't. We route it to the right state.
Certified translation
Many destinations need a certified translation with the apostille. The pop-up doesn't translate; we coordinate it in the right order.
Embassy legalization
For a country outside the Hague Convention, an apostille isn't enough. We arrange embassy or consular legalization instead.

When and where is the San Diego apostille pop-up?+
The California Secretary of State's Apostille Pop-Up Shop comes to the San Diego County Administration Center (1600 Pacific Highway) on Wednesday, December 2, 2026. It's same-day and in person — but one day only and first-come. Our Downtown San Diego office is about five minutes from the venue, so on December 2 you can drop your California document with us and skip the line entirely. Do I have to go to the pop-up, or can you do it for me?+
You don't have to go. We apostille your documents any business day, with no line and no appointment — mail them in with our prepaid label or bring them to either San Diego office. If you can't make December 2, or don't want to spend the day in line, we handle it for you.
What does the pop-up NOT do?+
The pop-up only apostilles California-issued documents at the state level. It does not handle FBI or federal apostilles (those go through the U.S. Department of State), documents issued by other states, certified translations, or embassy legalization for non-Hague countries. We handle all of those.
Can you get my apostille the same day or on a rush?+
Often, depending on the document and the issuing authority's current schedule. Because we're local, we can hand-carry eligible California records in person, and we offer rush handling on qualifying documents.
